ImagiPLAY recalled about 500 bead maze toys (sold at toy retailers nationwide from August 2008 through October 2008) after discovering that the trees could detach, exposing a metal screw, which posed a laceration hazard to young children.
Casper Halloween Figurines
Coyne's & Company Inc. recalled about 14,000 Casper the Friendly Ghost figurines (sold at gift, specialty, card, and drug stores nationwide from June 2005 through September 2008) after discovering that the figurines contained paint with high levels of lead.
Stroller Activity Bars
International Playthings Inc. recalled about 10,000 Taggies Strollin' Along Stroller Activity Bars (sold at specialty toy stores nationwide and on the Internet from February 2007 through July 2008) after discovering that the shiny material on the elephant's ear on the activity bar could detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Fisher-Price Pots & Pans Toys
Fisher-Price recalled about 15,000 Learning Pots & Pans toys (sold at discount department and toy stores nationwide from October 2007 to August 2008) after discovering that missing screws in the blue toy pan could cause the clear plastic cover to come loose and release small balls, presenting a choking hazard to young children.
State Farm® Recalls Good Neigh Bears
Distributor: State Farm, of Bloomington, Ill.
Hazard: The eyes on these bears can come off, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: State Farm received one report of the plastic eye of a bear coming off and a child placing it in her mouth. No injuries have been reported.
Description: This recall involves the 11-inch (28 cm) and 18-inch (46 cm) State Farm Good Neigh Bears with plastic eyes. The bears are brown and wear a white and red State Farm shirt.

Disney Store Recalls Toy Tool Sets-Handy Manny

Hazard: The tools contain eyes that can separate, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received three reports of detached eyes, including two reports of children who started to choke on the pieces.
Cinderella Battery-Powered Toy Cars
Name of Product: Cinderella 12-Volt Electric Ride-On Vehicles
Units: About 64,000
Manufacturer: Dumar International USA, of Franklin, Mass.
Hazard: The wires under the hood of the car and/or in the battery compartment under the seat can short circuit, posing a fire and burn hazard to children riding in the car.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm and CPSC are aware of 40 incidents of the toy car’s wires overheating. In several incidents, smoke was seen coming out from underneath the seat area where the battery is located. In one incident, flames shot from under the hood while a 4-year-old girl was riding the vehicle. No injuries have been reported.
Description: The electric ride-on toy resembles the Pontiac Solstice. It is light blue and has Cinderella graphics on the front and sides. The wheels, steering wheel and two seats are pink. The white dashboard may contain an optional radio. “Pontiac Solstice” is printed on the back of the car. “Walt Disney’s Cinderella Special Edition” is printed on the license plate. It is designed for children 4 to 7 years old.

Hazard: Pieces of the faucet or the clock hands can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: There have been 48 reports of small parts separating from the toys, including two reports of children gagging on pieces, one report of a child who started choking on a piece and one report of a child who choked on a piece.
Description: The recall involves a play kitchen learning toy with a pretend refrigerator, range and sink. The product’s item number L5067 is stamped in several locations on the toy and printed on the product’s packaging above the UPC.
